How we use your information

This website

This site sets no cookies, has no forms, and uses no analytics or advertising. Its fonts and pictures are served from the site itself, so visiting it tells nobody else that you did.

The site is hosted by Microsoft. Like any web host, Microsoft keeps short-lived technical records of requests, including the internet address they came from, to run the service and protect it from misuse. These records may be processed outside the UK under Microsoft's data protection terms.

When you email us

We use your name, your contact details and whatever you tell us to reply to you. If you are one of our tenants, we also use them to manage your tenancy and your home, for example to arrange a repair or a safety check.

We rely on these lawful bases: carrying out your tenancy agreement; meeting our legal duties as a landlord and a company (such as safety checks and keeping financial records); and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.

Who else sees it

Only those who need it to do something for you or for us:

• the letting agent who manages your home, if there is one;
• the contractor coming to do a repair or a check, who is given what they need to arrange the visit;
• our accountants and professional advisers;
• the companies that provide our email and our records system, who hold it on our behalf.

We never sell your information or use it for marketing.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it for the reason we have it, and then for as long as the law asks. For example, financial records are kept for six years.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Email us and we will reply within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
